26th October 2008 - Worksop Half Marathon

Really wet day to start with,

Arrived and collected number, went with three guys from Shelton Striders, Gavin Fletcher, Ian Sharp and Steve Oliver.

Had a great laugh in the build up

Good start, ran first 3 miles in 24 mins

Long lengthy straight slogs between each turn,

Had a good run really with a little slow period at 9 miles, picked my head up and concentrated and picked the pace up again.

Good finish,

13.1 miles - 1 hr 52 mins

Really pleased with result

felt strong , but do need some more speed work.
